I know mate; and I completely agree with you. I am slightly worried though; we've had some terrible lows over the past couple of years and I guess it feels a little too good to be true at the moment. It feels like we've had to put up with Liverpool being rubbish forever; when in fact it's only been 18 months and I just hope Kenny wasn't a false dawn. My heart says he'll get us back up there and win the title in the next couple of years, but my brain is telling me "Isn't that what we were supposed to do last year, then what happened..."

text-book thread hijacking by Jimbo, how has no one picked up on this yet? Somebody has an awful lot of time on his hands, on a Saturday! I never could have imagined the position Liverpool would find themselves in now 12 months ago. It feels like a lot longer ago that Rafa and the cowboys were calling the shots at Anfield. I know we only finished 1 place above where we finished last season but the real improvement has only taken place with the introduction of Kenny in January and the subsequent signings of Carroll and, especially, Suarez. Gerrard missing long periods of the end of the season only made me more confident of a Liverpool recovery being in the making and the fact that the owners are willing to spend a bit of money just backs up this confidence. 3 managers, Torres gone, Carroll and Suarez in, actual real life transfer funds, new owners, King Kenny Back! Never would have imagined this 12 months ago!

I think we will all have some reservations after the Hicks and Gillet reign. However, we've got the right man in charge of the team and the owners seem committed to buying the best young talent to help push the team forward. I would hope for a push on the top 4 next season and then hopefully we can build on that.
King Kenny, I picked up on it ages ago mate and answered his question yet he continues to persist.The one I feel sorry for and this has been mentioned already is Molby.It started out to be and I have mentioned this already to be a well thought out,and incredibly intelligent article.It has due to Jimbo descended into farce from the 3rd post onwards.
The transformation on and off the pitch is almost palpable (for Jimbo - that means you can touch it). Maybe we could sum it up as Liverpool re-finding their heart.
My big problem with all the optimism going round at the moment is that we have had it all before. I am happy with the direction we appear to be going and I want to get excited about and hopeful about next season but I just cant.
