There seems to be a pattern appearing here..... it seems to be teams at the bottom of the league that keep bringing this topic up. The last time I remember this happening it was on the QPR forum when they were bottom of the league the season before last.

Maybe they are just hoping that UEFA will suddenly turn around and say "...you know what ? you're right....we won't relegate you, we'll just kick them out of the league instead".
 
They are just ignorant morons who don't understand football history. It's really quite common, but nobody gave a **** when we were bobbing around the lower leagues.

Yes, just added a barbed contribution to that post. As you say, some seem to know their history, thank goodness. Some proper footballing people up there among the usual tools.
