Seriously dude, just get over it. You were sacked justifiably, although I think many, if not most, Chelsea fans had sympathy for you at the time due to the fact you took on an almost impossible task and were virtually set up to fail by the hierachy at Chelsea. That said, the digs at the fans, the worst football seen at the Bridge since Geoff Hurst, the tactical naivety, willingness to jeopardise the long term future of the entire club and complete stubborness didn't exactly help.

I honestly AVB needs help or some kind of closure. It's fast approaching the 6th or 7th time he's had a subtle or open dig at the club/owner/players. This is coming from a guy in management at another Premier League club. He may have failed at Chelsea but that doesn't mean he's a bad manager (although I don't rate him myself) or that he can't succeed elsewhere. He's obviously young and it's his first real rejection and he's taken it to heart. No shame in being sacked in football, least of all Chelsea but digging out ex-employers and colleagues is highly unprofessional.

I think you're reading far too much into this, DL. The job that AVB ("the Magician") now has is so much better for him than the one he suffered at CFC, he really doesn't need to waste his time being "bitter" (as you call it).

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas believes Arsenal are in a "negative spiral" of results that will be "extremely difficult" to get out of.

Spurs beat Arsenal 2-1 on Sunday to go seven points clear of their rivals.

Pressure has mounted on Arsene Wenger recently after FA Cup elimination at home to Blackburn and a 3-1 Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich.

"We are on an upward spiral in terms of confidence and they are in a negative spiral in terms of results," he said.

"To [get] out of that negative spiral is extremely difficult."

That's true. No pressure to succeed just get EL and the fans are happy. You'll probably get less points and be in a lower position than last season so he's really done wonders.

Football would be a much better game if all the managers kept their mouths shut. I can't think of one who hasn't said something dumb, and then had it all backfire on him. Certainly The Slurry one and FSW have made fools of themselves this year, Voyeur is always good for a laugh, Arry is priceless, De Canio the new Motormouth, so it goes on.
They should always remember to engage the brain before putting the mouth in gear.

I think AVB was hurt when he was sacked by Chelsea. After all it was his home coming. I guess he is allowed to snipe, it does affect the team and only the fans who are easily riled.

Pressures starting to get to the tea boy he knows anything less than a win tonight leaves them needing other teams to do them a favour his comments on Arsenal are strange as over the last few weeks Arsenal have been grinding win after win and have the easier remaining games so what he said makes no sense.
