First time I've really seen you this season. As I said, I was impressed with what I saw. A couple of our "big" players didn't perform today and you deservedly turned us over. No arguments from me. <ok>

Its all well and good giving respect, respect has to be earned as far as I am concerned and there is no getting around the fact that hull are a team that we most certainly should not be getting beaten off at home. If we are going to just put this down to hull being the underdog I can kind of understand that in a really minute way when it comes down to it however why can we never close games out and finish teams off and as much as this will upset hull fans it is teams like to this that we should be beating if we have any ambitions

Oh don't get all precious about it honestly, it's a not a case of it even being about Hull – it could be ANY of the newly promoted teams or any of the lot just above.

Point is, whether we agree with their selection or not NUFC currently has a squad full of coveted, international players. Add in the factor of coming off a good result and showing last week, but most importantly at HOME and at a ground like SJP.

There wouldn't have been many people or pundits tipping a nailed on away win for Hull today, especially if you said NUFC would score twice.

That is not being disrespectful it's just a measure of where the two teams/clubs are perceived to be.

I'm not for one minute suggesting we're anything special btw, or even in actuality a better team than Hull this season – that remains to be seen!

So no we don't believe the team to be better than what it is, quite contrary often in the extreme. We just have an expectation of what kind of team this club SHOULD have, big difference.

Never a problem with any team coming up and playing better to claim the win, that's not the point.

Come on guys, it's not the end of the world, the best team won on the day, let's get over it and look upward and onward.

Hull were the best team on the day and deserved their win.

True, true although I really don't think that's been in dispute this whole thread.

NUFC fans are just sick and tired of this one step forward two steps back thing around the club that seems inevitable.

You would have been looking to today's game to be the result that consolidates the great win at Villa away, but as always it's one or the other.

This club, whatever you think of it as a fan or hater, should at the very least be getting back to a level of "consistency" (as Pardew puts it) where it confidently expects with some level of sanity to win home games against MOST teams.

Can I just also add for the Hull fans on the board – not many NUFC fans would have confidently predicted or expected us to win today had it been away...

Well you have a point, don't know why I still allow it to bother me like this anymore I suppose its hard when you care about something so much though. I am just sick of watching an under preforming team and sitting week in and out nervous as **** about the result we never finish teams off or go for the jugular and that was something that would have been good especially first half .I'm not saying that hull don't deserve some praise but please do me a favour and I am struggling to see how they deserved to win apart from the obvious of course

I'd like to apologise to you BigDavey for spoiling your day, we had the the cheek to come up there and beat you. What the Hell was we thinking? We got above ourselves and beat the all conquering Newcastle United, the team above all others, especially little Hull who hasn't earned the right to be in the Prem League.

Stop giving your great Club a bad name and learn a bit of humilty and stop looking down on everyone else. Stop being disrespectful for God's sake.

Your apology is duly noted, look if i have been disrespectful i apologize but I still don't think you deserved the win however you did play really well but that's just my opinion and I am entitled to it I am just a bitter and twisted individual good luck for the rest of the season

    <laugh> Sad bastard.

We're a decent team. One of the cheapest in the league, but we still have some real quality in our first XI.

Today was our worst away performance, we were much better at Chelsea(outside of the first twenty minutes) and at Man City and we won't get relegated. Though neither will you.

Thought they played well and took advantage of a poor performance from our lot. No easy games.

Well, you seem like a bit of a ****. I thought someone over twice my age would be a bit more mature than this.

The rest of your fellow Newcastle fans seem fair, you are just being a ****ing prick.

Oh, and for the record - I started going to watch Hull in 1999. When we were near enough bottom of League Two. So don't even ****ing bother calling me plastic, you have no idea.
