There is a whole end behind the goal at Norwich where they stand, in addition they stand the length of the side under the cameras. We have 2 not quite full sections. Must be great living in a football city like Sunderland, Portsmouth, Norwich...
I haven't been to Norwich so I don't know but having been to plenty of grounds, I find it incredibly difficult to believe that an entire side and an entire end all stand and sing. That would be unique in English football if so.
Just to hijack the thread a bit I always thought the fans behind the goal was a good idea badly executed. Think we’ve had the discussion and acun will have no chance of moving away Fans to upper west. So who will acun listen to? A fans group? Certain special individuals? we have some of the cheapest tickets around. What if he increases prices?
I said they stand. Which they do. And do at a lot of other grounds. Whilst we only have 2 small sections stood.
Railed seating /safe-standing in central sections of South and East stands would be what I'd hope for.
