    Saw that earlier
Quite ridiculous, and no one knows who is on board these private jets that fly into London City from high risk countries such as Russia, China, Iran, etc and the people on those aircraft don't go through any formal border controls upon their arrival in the UK
The guy was right to speak out but it's cost him his job, although he was due to leave (retire?) in a months time anyway

No. Same schools, same road but not directly involved. I have had difficult conversations with my son, as have his friends parents because of what we are seeing, and what has been seen on social media. We know of local kids involved in criminality, gangs and carrying weapons.

Seriously mate…my heart goes out to you on this one.
Back in the day, most of my mates were minor rogues, often in trouble with the law, but all petty stuff. None would ever consider getting involved in anything such as this.
Again, my two stepsons were often involved in their late teens, early twenties but never weapons.

The daily news coming out of England shocks me more each day and the knife violence is abhorrent on any level. I watched a documentary some years ago about a stabbing in Bristol whereby the culprit fled the country, but eventually returned to face justice, which heavily involved a police chief who was almost in tears to see this level of violence in his city. According to that officer the crimes were committed by localized gangs who were arranged by post codes who would attack others who invaded their specific area and the results often proved fatal for someone. No knives were carried during quiet times but most gang members knew where a hidden weapon was within a 50 yard radius for their protection and would only grab the weapon when threatened. I truly think the world changed after Covid and the anger that was produced has made our streets unsafe especially with all of the weapons including knives and guns. Thankfully where I live we don't have those problems but over on the mainland around Greater Vancouver the problem is shootings within 2 very specific gang issues and they are always either Indian or Chinese every time. When I read the crime details on BBC News I can't help but notice that nearly all serious crimes are committed by certain ethnic groups, either by skin colour or country of origin, and that just proves that you need to be more careful as to who you let enter your shores. Unfettered immigration has fuelled the fires of discontent and only added more residents who feel hard done by when it comes down to the laws of the country in which they now live. All criminals who have no right to be there should be immediately deported along with their entire families after serving their sentences and perhaps it is time for all undocumented residents to be sent home, no matter what their excuse. Difficult problems need drastic action, but softly softly will never get the job done, and until such time as someone steps up and says enough is enough and this is what we are going to do, and the struggles to control the issue will continue ad nauseum.
