Lots of huff and puff and no lack of effort but little quality .

Even Louza was sloppy .

Encouraging performance by Mamma but attack didn’t function much .

Draw was probably fair

Probsbly rose -tinted , like my predictions, but I thought we outplayed PNE. We needed only one of numerous clear shots to go in. I thought PNE werepoor for a top 6 team, which encourages me that we could/should/would be there soon.
I reckon if we are close enough at the tuen (23 games or jan windoe closed)
then we will have a stronger 2nd half squad than for quite a while. Perhaps one of our CF's needs to be replaced by a real poacher. But can't have everything.

There were some excellent passing moves but on the whole I found it a disjointed performance.
Ditto - but it was still better than anything we saw during Pezzolano's reign.
We could even have won it right at the death if Irankunda hadn't been so theatrical with his dive. It looked to me like his right foot was taken out from under him, but his dive was just so ridiculous.

Pretty poor attendance - 16,113 - I take it that it was a cold night and an armchair in the warmth and in front of the telly was a more attractive proposition?

By the way, did anyone watch on fawanews - or has it stopped working?

Yes we certainly have some really good options in attack although not all are fit and are young so raw .

But also still can get caught out at times on the ball and maybe take too many touches in defence.

There is certainly a better positive approach but need to be more consistent.

Thought it was a fair result, you are great going forward, however at the back your high line will cause you problems, did see the comment about us being poor, last night we had two keepers on the bench due to a rather long injury and suspension list, we were slightly understrength
Match blog soonish

I considered getting a ticket, but decided against it because of the cold and the fact I can watch on Sky. I suspect a lot were in a similar boat to me.
