Went for Tommy, because I believe he was greater for Watford than Ashley. From what I've heard Cally will be hard done by not to make the starting 11, but Blissett and Jenkins are very likely to take the last two places, and I think one more recent player gives the team an appropriate balance.
Vote Cally, you know it makes sense. How you can you have Barnes on one wing and not have Callaghan on the other?
this is for the youngsters that missed Callys era with Barnes and co , the second goal is my all time watford goal !
Not to be outdone - watch Scully silence the Stretford End
Shows you the quality in this area down the years when TC doesnt get a vote! Sorry BB still thinks Callys back heel is the best!
Toughest one yet. Not quite old enough to have seen Scullion play and Cleverley, whilst brilliant, definitely loses out by dint of being a loanee. But the other three would make my all time top 10. In the end I have to go for Cally.
Voted Cally. My heart told me Scully (or was it BB whispering in my ear?) partly to try to get at least one legend from that era in the team. However, for the sheer quantity of product that resulted from Cally's fantastic crossing, and his thunderbolt shot, it has to be him. Scully would beat full backs for fun, but I don't remember there being so much resulting from it. Would like to see 'assists' stats for him and Cally. I was always amused by the similarity of Scully's name to 'scuttle' which sort of describes his style when running with the ball at his feet. Honourable mentions to Tommy and Ashley.
Again due to the generation constraints i have to say AY. He was by far the best i have seen. Tommy was better as a striker i think.
