As is the whole premise of you having made a £27m bid, whatever "Sky Sources" (ie, the voices in Jim White's head) may be saying.
I'm pretty sure a player in the world somewhere is on £300k a week. Whether Rooney is or not isn't really the point.
Manchester United are refusing to comment on reports they have made a £27m offer for teenager Luke Shaw. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27368029
I didn't expect the deal to go through anyway but if you guys are going to throw £30m+ at Shaw there is no way Southampton will let Lallana go on the cheap.
We don't need CBs, we have plenty of them (eight in all). We need a DM that offers protection and FBs that defend.
We've got two good centre backs and one decent one. Our centre backs just like to injure themselves a lot. We've got a couple of promising future FBs- but none that are of sufficient quality now. Flanny good lad and prospect for the future- but he can't be on both sides of the field at once. I'd take a quality CB and kick out some that we have- but there are other places in need of more urgent attention. FBs, DM, striker (no decent backup), winger. CB is fairly low on the list.
Our defence ****s on yours and we need new defenders. Every single one o our defenders would start ahead of yours.
Well, that is worded better. Must be quite embarrassing that our **** defenders are still better than yours though
