He's always been a fine athlete, with great potential. Until recently, he has lacked application, and positional sense. I suspect that partnering Ledley may have something to do with his rapid improvement. He hsas a great future, if he so chooses.
Ghoddle, this 'man' can't even get West Ham's unofficial motto right. His "Supernus terra quod maris" actually translates as "The man above the world because of the sea" That's what happens when you think you can just google the individual words without knowing anything about syntax, conjugation etc. For any true WHU fans, Over land and sea, in the context it's meant should read, "Per terram ac mare.
Cheers BA - You really are a treasure trove of information and fair comments. I didn't have a clue that the poster's name referred to OLAS. I'm actually starting to warm to West Ham again because of your good self
Cheers Ghoddle10, Just trying to balance out the stupid ignorant WHU 'fans' with a bit of knowledge and unbiased football comments. I like banter as much as the next man, but there's no need to resort to nastiness and pathetic wind ups. Congrats on the win earlier, lovely free kick from Pavlyuchenko and I thought Defoe's was on the way in. Livermore had a few scary moments but I thought he was good in possession and played well for an out of position midfielder. Ideally you could have done with another as Harry reckons he'll have to take a much younger team to Rubin Kazan on the 3rd because of the journey there and back and having to keep the big boys for playing Fulham on the 6th. Gomes made a few very good saves I thought, clean sheets at home are always a boost. Glad to hear you're defrosting in your views towards WHU, just remember that next season when we meet!!!,
HI BA - yep it was an important win, but I have to say Rubin deserved a draw, but hey sometimes the bounce of the ball goes your way. You really are a good ambassador for the Hammers and football in general.
I thank you. Should have been on the coach on the way to Brighton now but the match got moved to Monday night because of Sky!!. Looking forward to a good weekend's football.
