Seriously? Did you just ask that? He signed a 5 year deal about 2 months ago, clearly committing himself to Southampton. Of course it ****ing matters!
Don't waste your time mate, he thinks that every club that United wave their cheque book at, should be grateful for whatever fee is offered & that every player on the planet would automatically choose to join United.
new contract means better salary for the player, who will turn that down? more when no other big clubs did showed real interest, why then turn down better money? just recently Oscar Cardozo just signed a new contract with Benfica, that didn't stopped many clubs of trying to sign the player this summer and actually the player himself admitting he wants to leave Benfica now
I know, believe me. But it's astounding how somebody can think signing a 5 year deal means **** all just a mere few weeks after signing it!
and Cardozo is 30 years old, Shaw is 18. And have you got evidence of him wanting to leave Benfica or are you just believing some red top again?
don't repeat what NOF is saying like a headless chicken and don't run like a coward chicken, explain all drama you made about how immoral is that Moyes going after his old club players, yet your manager are doing exactly the same, answer like a man
The difference is, Martinez hasn't made quotes previously stating how Wigan don't sell cheap and sticking mighty price tags on the players whilst managing them. His bids were also accepted for not being embarassingly tiny.
He's 18 years old and just starting his footballing career... If Shaw had the option to start for United/Chelsea, who do you think he'll choose?
Cardozo having good money right now at his age, while am sure Shaw wages were crap as it was a youth player contract not a senior one, so will not blame him for trying to sign a senior contract with far far better wages, more when no club did made any firm offer for him .. and there are plenty of example of players doing that anyway there are many managers who expressed how signing contract seem to mean nothing those days, those players if they will move , they will move to big clubs, and they know big clubs will pay alot anyway to get them
Chris Smalling is an Arsenal fan but joined us, same thing with Wilfried Zaha, and Ashley Young, Aaron Ramsey who's a United fan joined Arsenal.
Very true matth, however all we can do is speculate and the odds would be in our favour. Plus in terms of winning trophies there's a massive difference between United and Arsenal, I don't think there is between United and Chelsea.
