You're on the United board. I know you post more on here than on the Chelsea board so may get confused.
Aren't you (and Everton) being oversensitive about this? Remember that Moyes is now employed by United and therefore has to look after their interests. It is just the start of the bidding. It is like going to a car dealership and the salesman asks "How much are you willing to pay for this shiny Ford Focus?" You'd be a fool to say exactly how much you would be prepared to pay at the outset. If it is an £8K car I would say £6.8K. He might scoff like you did at the initial offer but it is then up to him to say " well you are too far from the value. We would like £7.5k etc". Being offended at an offer is plain silly...
So? It's a forum for multiple teams. Grown men should not be butchering each other's team names regardless of situation. It's pathetic.
Firstly, no we're not being 'over sensitive'. Moyes was our manager for 11 years & he's trying to shaft us at the end of his first window at United, it's shows total disrespect for his former club. The offer is a total joke, as he HIMSELF valued Baines at £20m+ last summer when SAF came sniffing around him, he also knows exactly how good Fellaini is, so to offer us less than we actually paid for him (after add ons) shows his utter contempt for Everton Football club Added to that he bid £12m for Baines over a month ago & United stated it was their final offer, we told you to get ****ed & you've come back offering the same money ffs! It's nothing more than a clumsy attempt to unsettle both players & given that you got Moyes via the backdoor & whilst he was under contract, you're trying to do it again with our best 2 players. I hope we tell you that we won't deal with you on those 2 for any price, it's about time we made a stand & we don't have any necessity for the cash this time round.
get over it ,.. that is the rule of the game, every manager do it wake up and smell the coffee , we are not living in a perfect world with angels
class as usual 12m is fair price for someone who will turn 29 in a couple of months, what else Everton fans expect? he get closer to 30 and keep same price tag as last season?!! if he was worth 20m last season, he is worth now 15m at best meanwhile Chelsea didn't offer anything closer to rooney value, you are not serious, and just wasting our time trying to destabilize the team (old jose tricks) that is not the case of UTD when bidding for Everton pairs
class you are crazy if you think we live in a perfect world, or that Baines price tag stay the same when getting 1 year older closer to his 30s
is ok it is natural to reply back with insults when you don't have answers 1- what part of it is part of the game you don't get? when Moyes said he is worth 20m last season, that don't mean he really value him that much, that is called negotiation, you give a high price and then start negotiating 2- what part of he is one year older closer to his 30s you don't get? do you seriously expect to pay same money we offered last season for a player who will be 30 a year later?
1- I think Everton paid him his right price vlaue, is not like he was a bargain 2- sure our offer will be 16m + adds on , so our offer is really higher than what they paid, as they paid 15m + add on 3- you can't compare what everton had settled at end of negotiation with Liège, with the price we are offering now as a starter in a negotiation, as sure it will go higher
Firstly, it wasn't a negotiation tact last season by Moyes, it was "**** off he's not for sale" unless a daft offer arrives. Secondly, I don't give a **** what value United place on him, it doesn't matter a shiney ****e, as he's our player, contracted to us, & given the way we play he's worth infinitely more to us on the pitch than £12m on the balance sheet. For us to part with him at this point in the window it'd have to be an offer that was simply too good to refuse - £12m isn't even what he's worth & it's therefore a joke of a bid.
What utter ****e that is. We bought him as a virtual unknown, we bought potential, 5 years later he's now a fantastic PL midfield player, as we've developed him into one. To suggest that he's now worth LESS as an established highly regarded PL player, who's not even at his peak yet, than he was 5 years ago when we took a punt on him, is total bollocks.
so you basically telling me that the 20m evaluation was to scare us and telling us "**** off he's not for sale".. so you agree it is not his right price tag then? so sure his value must had been 15m last season, so 12m now is more than fair enough then
especially sore losers like you, who felt bitter since your argument that Ruddy is better than Gea last season .. normal people get over it.. you not
