At the end of the day, we're a massively bigger club, with more history, European pedigree and success than Hull will ever dream of getting, let alone coming close to achieving.

I'm failing to see where any Hull poster has said that Celtic weren't bigger than Hull? Of course you are because you compete in Europe every Season. The point we're making is that you're only a "big" Club because you compete in a League full of plumbers and Pet Shop owners and manage to get the financial success of Europe at the end.

How can you say that Bradford are capable of winning honours? They had an unbelievable run to the final of a third-rate cup, and got annihilated 5-0 at Wembley! They were the first Fourth Division side to get to the final in fifty years, and it'll be twice that until another side does it. Of course it was good to see both cups won by sides who had never won anything before in Wigan and Swansea, but that doesn't change the fact that the league and FA Cup have been dominated by the same teams for years. In recent years Gretna and Queen of the South have reached the Scottish Cup final as lower league sides. Does that make the Scottish leagues any more competitive? Not really.

We only got promoted this season because the quality of the Championship was so dreadful.

No wonder Scotland, Ireland and England reject them.

 

They were in the Final, and had they have won it, they would have won an honour would they not? I didn't realise that a Club that was in the Final, clearly isn't capable of winning the competition they're in...

Still got Promoted. "You can't polish a turd" comes to mind, but nevertheless, we still achieved it.

 

Now this really annoys me.... It's like when we stayed up in the Prem, everyone said it was only cos there were 3 worse sides. OF COURSE IT ****ING WAS, that's the only reason a team ever doesnt get relegated. And the reason we got promoted this season was becasuse we were better than 22 other teams. THE SAME AS IT IS EVERY OTHER ****ING YEAR.

 

The fact that you have a short fuse doesn't alter the fact we were merely 'the best of a bad bunch'. We're not good enough to stay up next year and we don't have the cash to buy the players we need. It's a waste of ****ing time being promoted.
