Sounds like we've had two or three decent chances already, hope we're not made to pay for not taking them.

Good start. Redmond playing well and playing others into goal scoring positions.

Bassong & Yobo coping well with Big sam's long ball tactics, what happened to the 'Academy' of football.

I think that stopped when Alan Devonshire and Tony Cottee stopped playing for them (along time ago)

True Thai, a lot of long ball from both teams to be honest, would you take a draw tonight?

With a little more luck/composure/skill (delete as applicable), a half time lead for City would have been well deserved.

On the basis of the first half, I would be disappointed with just 1 point, but if its a back to wall effort in the 2nd period, then I guess so.

Played well up to about 20 mins, then we got bullied all over the park.

Have you seen a bigger bunch of fairies than West Ham though? It's like someone is machine gunning them and the ref is falling for every single one. I thought Olsson's card was soft at best and the ref is just blowing up all the time making it horrible to watch.

Finished strongly, but once again we have an opposition 'keeper having a stormer and we are in danger of being punished for missing our chances when on top.

Need to get Redmond on the ball more, his pace was worrying them

Why don't we put him on his own up front when facing West Ham corners? It's not as if he provides much defensively and they are missing pace at the back, so after that little Hooper break it could be a useful weapon

I think I saw that we were at 61% possession on 20 minutes, since then West Ham turned it around and overtook the possession stats for the half. If we stop giving away free kicks in the middle of the pitch, I would like to think we can contain them much better, it is then just a case of 'if' we can take one or more of our chances.

Can we really moan about them going down quicker than a $10 whore, when we have Snodgrass <laugh> Not that he has done that tonight - yet!
