Agree with this, but I think if you take a look at Hull's fixture list and given today's result, they are more likely be with us than W Brom and while Pulis is working miracles at Palace, he's been helped by some decent fixtures with some tough ones left.
My god am I glad to see you Mikey. I believe last time you made an appearance we went and beat W Brom away. You may just be the miracle we need
Sigh, always comes back to the manager... I heavily disagreed with the decision to take Hooper off but other than that it is just a case of being denied by the goal keeper which seems to be the story of our season. I guess some of our fans just want the manager gone because they want some blood to be spilled rather than because they think it will, and also rather than it will actually improve our situation. Tonight's result was sickening and I personally also found myself blaming Hughton and the substitutions but I don't believe we will go down and I don't believe a change in management at this time will help but I am sick to death of games like this and right now I would be completely open to a change of manager at the end of this season just purely because something has to change.
I think that might have been true perhaps 2 months ago. Today, I think the mood has swung to the point where people are just fed up with him. The changes he made tonight (just to add fresh legs - CH quote) only served to compound the frustration.
Home games against the bottom 11: Fulham: Norwich, Palace, Hull Cardiff: Hull, Fulham, Palace, Stoke Sunderland: Palace, West Ham, Cardiff, WBA, Swansea WBA: Fulham, Cardiff, West Ham, Stoke Palace: Villa Stoke: Swansea, West Ham, Hull, Fulham Hull: WBA, Swansea Can see your point Rob! Home games against the bottom half are going to be seen as "must-wins" for every team around them, and Palace have got it particularly tough in that respect. That's a positive against. Weighed against that is the spirit that both Hull and Palace seem to have in their camps, and they seem to be picking up more points where you wouldn't expect it. I'm worried, March is so, so crucial for us.
I've found my way here but I've got to be quick for fear of waking my warden, Mrs Swedish. So I usually try to stay pretty positive about CH but I must admit to being very disappointed this evening. I do believe the subs cost us the game. Frankly I couldn't really see the need to change anything since a draw seemed to be the minimum we were heading for. Pilks for Snods would have been my only wish because pace and direct running seemed to give us our most dangerous moments, particularly early in the first half. For me, the changes blunted our attack and invited them to take the initiative. I'll say one thing about CH. He certainly doesn't play to the gallery, because his subs tonight seemed positively designed to provide his doubters with ammunition.
and did with unparalleled success - even to the point, with you as one of the more positive posters concede, the changes were not necessary, and were mind-boggling.
We have winnable games but can't score so theres a big worry. Whereas the other strugglers can score. I'm very concerned indeed that we will struggle to win one game let alone 3 home in a row
sod that, we are going full speed to take your place! and believe me when i say if that miracle does take place tin hats are the order of the day!
