Äkta människor are more real because you see their inner struggle. The US version paints them as evil dolls who are attacking 'Merica' and condescends to the bottom dwellers who can only understand very simple concepts. Like Donald Trump.

Okay cheers for that. The attacking 'merica trope I get and deplore for driving the narrative in otherwise good stories.

Maybe I'll watch both.

The rest of your post I'm staying away from.

"Steelmonkey, post: 10003275, member: 1007390"]Humans is brilliant pal, now in the middle of season 2 but you'll get season 1 online somewhere.

It's a turd compared to the Swedish original. Stupid americans to thank

It's English.....you must have it confused with a different show.....not one mention of USA in two seasons....don't think I would enjoy a US version either

Yeah and that's fair enough. It's obviously not everyone's thing. I'm not saying you like them but if I were forced to watch a single episode of Deadenders or Britain's Got Nothing Better To Do On A Saturday Night I'd be sat there with a cocked revolver in my mouth. Different strokes and all that. <ok>
100% re those two shows.

If you'd actually watched the show - or read the links above regarding the potential of AI - you'd know your entire post relating to it is a nonsense. Come back when you've seen it and talk specifics rather than murmuring vague inanities about sci-fi and sex.

Oh and QPR. The fun is in the journey. Fernandes is a cretin but has nothing like the skeletons your guy has hanging in the closet. You up at Wolves? If not I'll post you a picture of my ticket. Make you feel a bit more at home eh?

I watched the first episode, barely. Couldn't get through it, TBH.
I just can't get into fantasy like this. I'm not much of a fantasy-fiction person. Certainly not this kind of fantasy. Just can't make the leap that robots and androids can move around and behave like real humans, ever, no matter how anybody hopes, they will always have machine bits in them, after all, and how are they ever going to feel like human skin etc. I just don't enjoy, or have fun, fantasizing about that sort of thing. So the story doesn't matter, because it always has be brought down to the human level of relationships and whatnot, and if I can't buy into the robots in this park like that, I won't enjoy it. Not going to watch any more episodes. There are too many other things to watch in the world now, that a whole lifetime won't be enough to see them all, so I have to be choosy.

Enjoy.

Being a huge fan of everthing eighties I now watch Stranger Things and very much like what I've seen so far. Also gone through every season of The Americans which I loved.

Best series I've seen though is True Detective season one, absolutely amazing, best actor performance I can remember in any TV series. Bit of a slow burner, but when you get past the first couple of episodes and have got to know the charachters you can't put it away, at least I couldn't. Matthew McConoughey is so into characther it's scary, lovely to watch. Season two also good in it's own way, all new cast and plot, very enjoyable but not quite as good as season one.

Other enjoyable series I've seen in the last couple of years are:

Banshee
Blacklist
Sons of Anarchy
Game of Thrones

The first season of True Detective was also my fav shows of the last few years, season 2 was one of the worst shows I've ever seen :-)
