Hope for a win obviously but just don't see it happening. Having said that the Baggies are not exactly consistent but the Hawthorns is another one of those grounds where anything more than a point for City is rare.

Just found a stat site. Results at Hawthornes as follows:-

W 1-4 95/96
L 5-1 96/97
L 1-0 97/98
L 2-0 98/99
D 1-1 99/00
W 2-3 00/01
L 1-0 01/02
L 1-0 03/04
D 0-0 04/05
W 0-1 06/07
L 2-0 07/08

seems the 1-0 win was not as long ago as I though.

Out of the last 11 visits we have won 3, drawn 2 and lost 6. not a great record, but not as bad as I thought it was.

Earnie scored the winner and they hit our goal frame 6 TIMES lol.

At home they seem to be very average to say the least in the league. 2 wins, 1 draw and 6 losses at home only scoring 7 in the process. That is relegation form, we went to bolton who are having a torid time at home and won so there's no reason why we can't here too.

Also read that if the player's that are struggling for them miss the game then out of the there total goals scored in the league (19 I think) 12 of them are scored by these players.

id take a draw happily. West Brom are just "One of those teams" hard to beat, hard to understand. Lets see what we can do, I'm sure the lads will give it everything but I will say the FA cup team last week looked VERY slick in it's passing and movement. I believe the addition of Holt and Morison up front we could outmanouver West Brom.

The last time we met our team was naive to the premier league and it's ways, no longer, we will give it everything for the three points.

i reckon its the full three today. A glowing testament to how much we've learnt in the PL today. 3-1.

(fingers tightly crossed!)
