Which would explain why Pimping Ken replied the way he did to you're creepy little comment about underage girls.

Perhaps we could get back to the football? Some of this stuff looks more like it belongs on GC than on here.

What an odd little thread this has turned into.

Girls, as in young women, around 25 or so are REALLY weird here. Generally they are in two distinct groups, the women who are Kuwaiti and have a ton of money, so spend all their time aspiring to be American (resulting in some wholly bizarre and heinous fashion choices) or alternatively there are the women who cover, either just their hair or with a full abiya or in whatever degree they choose to. The women who cover are interesting as eyebrow/eyelash fashion becomes hugely important. Women will go to the salons to have massive amounts of work done to their eyebrows and eyelashes.

I'm going to see some football matches here soon, the local team is called Qadsia I believe, they're supposed to be ****e, so maybe I can get a game.

Right now the Friday prayer is being broadcast, when I first heard it I though a revolution was happening. Scared the **** out of me.

I agree completely however coing from someone with your username!!!!.....

As for the timekeeping yep it's cultural but it is starting to catch on here. My wife, her brother and her sister are always late for Doctor's appointments and then have a go at receptionists when they are told.Hard luck. they don't think next time though...Just do it again...Same result. lol

Oh and yes West Hm's board is hilarious. A little like some on here who seem to think people are doing things wrong (i.e. Adkins) that some aren't pulling their weight depite our league position. The West Ham board adds on top of this that they think they are some Giant of a club. Many say to everyone else 'you obviously haven't seen us play if you think we play hoofball' yet on their own forums complain about the team playing hoofball. lol

Delusions of Grandeur with them however they shouldn't be so worried about how they are doing. They are actually in a very good position. Better than most teams are first year after coming down no matter how much they have spent :)
