From that it looks like the ref saw it. Does that effect the possibilty of retrospective action (like it did with McManaman)?

If the ref picks it up in his report, then I think it's ok - no retrospective action possible

It wasn't a full on elbow was it?
I condemned Shelvey immediately for what he did but I don't think there was much in this. I can see how it's taken as an elbow but it wasn't that bad really!

Stupid by Mitro but when are footballers going to stop behaving as if they have just been shot by an elephant gun from close range when ever touched by an opposition player?

Haven't seen him for a while now, but think that just depends on his work schedule

Inclined to agree - from that angle at least it's hard to tell whether its a deliberate swipe, a flailing arm as Mitro changes direction, or something between the two. He's certainly not looking at Lanzini, but knows where he is.

Did MOTD have footage with a better view?

Also, did they catch the guy who tasered Lanzini after he clashed with mitro? It's not in the shot, but I assume that's what provoked quite that level of collapse.

Depends on whether his Tyler Durden character is in control or not.
