You're probably right, I didn't see it. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but it wasn't given, that we know as fact, yet to concede was completely preventable. ....ffs
Well it was an improvement on last week. People can talk about the other teams at the bottom but they aren't doing great themselves (hence also being at the bottom!) and you're a measly 2 points off Hull and Villa. If you get to 34 I can't see you going down so beat us as usual and then you have 4 nice games of which you probably only need to win one (Palace H, Stoke A, Southampton H, Everton A, Leicester H - Stoke away is the game that isn't nice by the way!). Would still much prefer to be in your position than QPR, Burnley or Leicesters. You've got a nicer run in than Hull too - I'd make you 5th most likely to get relegated.
Where was Watmore, putting Graham on was a Gus like masterstroke, the kid should have had 15 minutes to get a run at a very shaky West Ham, instead we handed it to them on a plate, Fletch and Defoe are not the answer away from home, both looked shot by half time, we have no tactics, no discipline, and an error prone leader, its the last chance saloon for us now and I am fearing the worst. Please somebody prove me wrong.
I'm just relieved that my new 4K Ultra HD telly survived - honestly when you see it you will think WTF
I thought Defoe looked very dangerous first half, but did fade in the second..I thought his ideal replacement would have been Watmore who would have tested their slowish defence..Hopefully the fact that he now has time to work with the players before the next game will give him a better idea of strengths and weaknesses.. However, all in all we were damned unlucky to lose today..
And the offside instead of stonewall pen decision? Nolan was robbed. That evened things up at the end although two wrongs don't make a right and that awful game didn't deserve a goal. Interesting to see Johnson come on, the lad looked shook to me. Just didn't seem with it at all.
Nolan was backing into our players all day..Regarding the offside, he was offside when the ball was knocked on, although the Sky pundits chose to ignore that one as well..
Dick cost us the match with the stupid subs. We was crying out for pace and he put on Graham and johno LOL most people can see it but same old managers don't. Not looking forward to the derby at all.
Spot on, people bore me with the same old ref cost us the game. We was hopeless trying to hand on for a point against a poor west ham team.
Anyone else think that Ultimate Knacker mi Anyone else think that Ultimate Knacker might just be Albert's Fish Shop in disguise?
No he wasn't. The ball was knocked on by John O'Shea. That makes it stone wall penalty. Dunno why I'm bothered mind, just don't buy the injustice stuff. You just didn't hold out long enough that's all.
Two poor teams and a poor ref, it was on the cards that this game would be decided on a mistake, and like so many times this season two poor decisions late on cost us.
