Well I'm for one excited about today. Heading off to London to meet with a few ex-army buddies. Then onto Upton Park for my first (and last) game of the season. I'm more optimistic about today than I was 2 weeks ago. Whatever the score I will be having a fantastic day and I hope everyone else does. Anyone know of any decent boozers around the ground?
Feel strongly that we won't lose, and do think we can nick it. Tell you what, with Gus this was a definite loss, so we are already up on the sacking.
Ha'way lads, hopefully today will show us a bit more of a spirited performace, last few weeks its been very lack luster, Lets get at them with high tempo and not give them any room.
For the first time in weeks I'm looking forward to this game, I'm not expecting miracles but a bit more attacking intent and freedom going forward will be a good start. So far as line up is concerned I'd imagine it won't be drastically different to the 11 Poyet has been putting out with the possible addition of a couple of youngsters on the bench.
Leicester getting beat By Spurs but Kelvin Davies has had to come on for soton as Foster is injured!! Burnley have more chance with him in goal!!

The new Sunderland head coach was giving his first media interviews today since taking over from Gus Poyet. He is weighing up his squad ahead of tomorrow’s trip to West Ham United, with Johnson – on police bail – having returned to training this week after the end of his suspension. Advocaat is also looking at the club’s younger players, with winger Watmore tipped to be in the squad. The 67-year-old said: “Every player who trains has an opportunity to start against West Ham tomorrow. “A number of the under-21s have been involved in training. Watmore has done well and could feature tomorrow. please log in to view this image IN THE FRAME: Duncan Watmore. “I have not picked the squad because we still have a final training session this afternoon before we fly to London. “Johnson is one of the players who could be picked. “The fans need to know something is changing. We need them behind us, they can be our 12th man. We must show them what it means to us.”
results so far are going well for us with all the teams except Villa losing at half time, stays like this ill be happy. and then its giving the Sunks a big dicking next match, full length right up to the gonads
Yeah would like Swansea to get one. Villa hardly had a shot first half against Swansea!! They'd scored four past us ffs! Ah well
