Total sense - and from a mag too! All this "we're going down" nonsense get a grip. We may not be great but there are 3 teams below us - what makes them special enough to ris above us? Then there's Hull - if they beat Chelsea tomorrow I may change my mind but they are shagged with their fixtures. Don't care what anyone says, there is some talent in the Sunderland squad although it' s been well hidden. We've seen some effort in some quarters today, now up to Dick to draw that out and get them playing as a team. But to be honest, if we're just average to the end of the season we'll still stay up.

Within minutes of dg coming on they scored. Had they scored before the sub it may have been different. He's had the team for 4 days and they're already moving into space better and playing the ball into that space better. I saw quite a bit if promise. Not a great game for a neutral but some promising stuff all the same. Defoes movement was very good. Composure not so much!
