I thought the keeper made it a little easier than it should've been tbh. defence is shaky and keeper isn't helping. West Ham like falling down mind
i'd stick n'doye up top and get more pace down the flanks amongst other thing. maybe bring borini on a good half-time rollicking required
20 seconds left and they're pissing about playing it back to half way ffs. PUT IT IN THE BOX ****ING HELL
We've played ok, been a bit shaky since the goal though. Regain our composure at the back, tidy the passing up a bit and cut out the silly individual errors.
but we don't look like breaking through the middle the way our passing is going. defoe has had nowt. n'doye is more likely to be able to hold it/scrap for it and make something for others. frustrating, as we still have a chance
Brain dead defending by a full back again costing us here, other than that they didn't look like breaking us down in that first half. Poor passing in the final third a few times or we might of had a couple of chances ourselves, we've had the ball in some decent positions just not using it very well (I'd include the set pieces in that as well). Not out of this yet though but we need to get the next goal.
No sense of urgency in our play. Sloppy at the back. Wasteful going forward. At least we're pressing up more than we've done in the past. Yedlin is NOT a PL player though.
sam's done what I thought he would, it's a scrappy game but you'l have to play less hoof and hope in the 2nd half to try for the equaliser, which should, hopefully, help us a bit in creating space. We've started slowly, which is generally a good sign for the second half. I bet Sam looks at our attacking options and wishes he'd been given another season. Hope you lose horribly today, obviously, but good luck in the future, I think you've got enough in the tank with Sam as manager. Contrary to popular belief most fans think he did a gret job, the media made a big deal about one banner at one game and continually printed the same picture every week to emphasise their point.
Worries me as I've never seen him play well against a former club! Spurs, Bournemouth, West Ham! Bit worrying. Hopefully he gets it out if his head before the end of the game
