You know what was so fckin bollox about this today? Where was the front foot football that "all" Pardews teams play? All the pre match rhetoric was about response from the players. 0-0 is a success? Tis a royal joke.

 

Much maligned but defends properly. Shame him Raylor, Colo and Saylor weren't fit all season. They were a cracking unit last year.

Good result. Certainly not one we should look to as the problem. Excellent home team who have lost 4 at home all season (Liverpool, Spurs, Everton, Arsenal). Citeh, Chelsea, Man U all dropped points there.

 

That Fulham v Reading game was crazy. Could have been about 8:8

 

Aye some teams are getting proper raggy but on the flipside playing with real freedom.

 

Watching MOTD:

Bale's wining goal was unreal! Yet again! How many points has he single-handedly won for Spurs this season?

Villa should have been down to 10 men v Norwich, but Agbonlahor's goals were quality.

West Brom really should have closed Wigan out. Typical.

 

Yet some wanted to leave Bale out of the team of the year and claimed he was overrated. Best player in the league bar none. He is getting a Ronaldo/Messi type aura about him in that he just wins games on his own and scores the important goals.

 

We should have kept Kazenga LuaLua - two absolutely cracking goals today. Quality.

 

Wish we had Bale, we wouldn't be in this predicament now.

 

My thoughts entirely, a win would have been a better result but that's stating the obvious. Unfortunately I was working yesterday and last night so haven't seen any highlights or even heard any reports about the game, however when I heard the result I was delighted.

 

It is strange. Everyone expects a hammering ( couldn't resist) but we play decent and get a hard fought point against an excellent home team, and its still all doom and gloom. Other results went against us but its still wide open.

 

Unfortunately because we've fannyed about in games we should have won, in the context of the weekend it's a terrible, terrible result.

It's like if I ended up in bed with Taylor Swift, a fine result in singularity, but when it transpired everyone else in the world slept with Rachel McAdams....
