It is but we aren’t reliant on him to play 38 games a season because the others are more than capable of chipping in. But would obviously be more useful if he was available.
Slot has said Gomez will be out for some time with a hamstring injury. So if fit then Konate will start against UTD and we have to just hope he has not been brought back to soon. Or Quansah with Konate on the bench
I think Klopp said that since Jota signed, there wasn't a fitness update list passed to him without Jota on it
Right I will probably never say this again And it will probably ultimately lead to our demise next week but you guys all say what we say on here cannot possibly effect the outcome of the game next week we should be able to play this Utd team with Quansah at CB without too many issues they are not offering too much of a threat up top and the one I would be worried about is Rashford so hopefully we can navigate the next few games without rushing Konate back - he also seems to be made of glass too
The other two are back in training. 3 back 1 out. It's just about OK. Get past utd with quansah then use the fa cup
Another brilliant game of football. So many good things to take away. Macallister was phenomenal and, once again, superb goals. Only downside is the injury to Gomez. It looked like he pulled his hamstring as a result of Soler being planted on his foot and him over stretching. Another 'unnecessary' injury. Hopefully not as bad as first thought. Salah is definitely drinking from the fountain of youth.
