Trust we will be looking to sign another striker at Xmas unless JRod puts together a run of games or move Omolola up into the first team squad
In Berlin for the marathon this weekend so can't pop down to my local stadium to watch it. Just downloaded the Matrix TV Browser for Android with the Sportsmania subscription to the catch the game. As someone else said last night, it's a bargain at £1/week.
It's nice having that 'i told you so' feeling.SportsMania is amazing, watched every Saints game in every competition this season so far in crisp HD, including last night's.
We're on the coach. Can't quite understand why we're leaving at 10 for a 4pm kick off which means I've got to leave Dorch by 8.30
Is that normal for a London game?
I hate getting up early on Sundaysbut in this case its in a good cause and I'm hopeful of a positive result
Looking forward to seeing the game in the new Stadium (and I did pay for it as CBK says)
Went there for Diamond League so interesting to see the changes
Hello all and welcome back to another Match Day thread by Saintsfcfan. Of the fixtures I have covered so far this is by far the toughest one, despite the current poor form of West Ham.
Saints have won their past 3 games, scoring 6 goals with no reply. West Ham on the other hand are having a bit of a poor run, having conceded 8 in their past two league games, and having to rely on a Payet freekick in the last minute to beat Accrington Stanley. This will be no easy game for Saints though, as West Ham have the quality to spank any team in the league, as was shown last season. Former Saint loaner Antonio is on fire in the goals department and Payet can work his magic at any moment. Saints have their own in-form man in Charlie Austin, having scored 4 times in his past 3 games and he will be looking to not only keep that run going as well as ramming the comments of West Ham chairman David Gold (that he had no knee ligaments) down his throat. Saints will also hope that Jay Rodriguez will be back in the match day squad after a recent injury scare, whilst record signing Sofiane Boufal could possibly make the bench.
My team
Forster
Martina Fonte Van Dijk Bertrand
Romeu
Hojbjerg Davis
Tadic
Redmond Austin
Subs: McCarthy, Yoshida, Cedric, Clasie, Hesketh, Boufal, Long
Prediction: Will not be an easy game but can see Saints winning. 2-1: Austin with both.
COYR!
KUMB very worried about Charlie, and so they bloody well should be!
We're forever paying taxes
Twenty pence in the pound
The porn kings are rich

So why the feck have we paid for your pitch?
We all want a rebate
We shouldn't pay for this

Austin has to start.
He's our most confident striker at the amount. Long and Redmond together doesn't work. There is no reason not to start Austin and he played less than an hour last night. Puel really can't use the managing his games excuse.I don't think he will as he started yesterday and Puel seems to be managing his games.
