But it is our song, we just bored of it and West Ham being full of chavs decided it was easier to sing than Skrillex.

Should Newcastle also be worried about relegation over 1 really poor performance losing to a struggling team, even worse for them, at home and 3-0

My point is, 1 bad performance does not send a team down. Today was a really bad performance, but we have not been bad all season, just unlucky sometimes. So no we will not go down, id put all my money on it, which isn't a lot i might add. :)

we don't, for the last 4 months we've had 3 or 4 first team fit, now they are all coming back, I'd be more worried if I were you, good first season 2nd season demotion is a familiar story, and if you can't beat a ten man west Ham with the referee planted firmly on your side, can't get a shot on target you have a lot to worry about.

Maybe they do but I still feel like most fans ignoring what's right in front of them. Too many fans (and media people) think we're too good to go down. Good teams sometimes get relegated because they simply can't win matches. There's no point being better than teams like West Ham if we can't actually beat them.

But the one good thing is that there are 10 or so teams in a similar predicament. So it's 3 from 10 which gives us a chance.

One game won't get us relegated, but it's one more missed chance.

But I'm not basin git on one game. I think we've been bad since after we won the League Cup. Yes we have a few good moments here or there, but they are just one offs.

Cardiff and Stoke will be much tougher than most fans realize. Based on today I can't see us winning either. What's going to turn things around? I can't see anything. No confidence and a manager that can't motivate the players.

And while we've been playing the top teams and losing, many on here said how it would come good when we played the bottom teams. So today was one of the games where we were supposed to pick up points. Fans reaction (most of them) is just that we're too good and other teams are worse. So we're relying on other teams instead of ourselves. that's never good.

you wait all week expecting a decent performance and thats what you get - we couldnt even get a shot on target against 10 men! even when we play badly i can usually think of 1 or 2 positives but today im really struggling it was that bad. Davies and DG were shocking but seriously Chico needs to be dropped to let him know that his cheating is not acceptable. no wonder theres a lot of frustrated fans on here but somehow weve got to pick ourselves up because theres a huge 6 pointer next week.

Don't you think there's a huge difference between Newcastle and Swansea.

Newcastle on 37 points and 15 above relegation zone.
Swansea on 24 points and 2 above drop zone.

Should they be worried. No. I'm sure they can pick up 3 points from 14 matches.

We on the other hand might need another 16 points from 14 matches. We've only managed 1 point a match so far and if we keep to that then we'll end up on 38. It might be enough and it might not. Can you seriously not see the difference?

It's not just one match though. We've lost tons recently but everyone said that was ok because they were top half teams. Well now we're losing to bottom 3 teams and you still think it's ok. I still can't see where the improvement is going to come from.

Now the excuse has changed to... but West Ham are worse than us so we'll be ok.

And if we lose to Cardiff you'll be saying... yes, but they have bigger problems than us. If West Ham have bigger problems than us and still beat us then it really doesn't look good does it.

Hull 1-0 up so now down another place. But don't worry because Hull and Norwich are worse than us.

    Swans.

I'm not allowed to says Swans because I get accused of not saying we, and I can't say we either apparently. So not sure what I should say. But I mean SCFC.

Of course we shouldn't give up. We should get a new manager who can pull the team back together. They need someone to shake them up and Laudrup doesn't seem able to do that.

Just doing the same won't change anything. It hasn't worked so far so why should it suddenly start working.

So not saying give up at all. Just saying get your heads of the sand and see what's happening before it's too late. We need changes. And fast.

But don't worry, we have easy matches (West Ham) while those around us have tough matches. Let's see.

    Norwich beating Cardiff
    Hull beating Spurs
    Stoke beating Man u
    Villa beating Everton

Oh yes, I see what you mean now. All those useless teams that are worse than us are winning, but never mind, because they really are worse than us. Just because they have extra points doesn't matter. Even if we end up relegated we'll still be better than them and that's what counts.
