This game was always going to be an up hill struggle for us, we do not have the blood and guts for these type of fights, and big Sam new that, he's the type of manager that sends on players with specific instructions to harass and intimidate, but having said that, we simply didn't turn up, and our back four couldn't keep organised against a useless slugger bug West Ham, and that is criminal, Ashley Williams should hang his head in shame at what he served up today, and as for De Guzman, well I can't wait for the day he goes, utter garbage. Laudrup was supposed to have sorted Chico out on all this rolling around on the ground, but clearly he pays no attention to Laudrup, and I'm beginning to wonder if any of our players do. Some have complained regarding Britton being benched, and I think that that was down to not getting him injured needlessly in this type of physical game, so I can understand that move, but then having 5 defenders on the pitch, and we concede 2 easy goals? surely question have to be asked, clearly not good enough. This was a game against the bottom dross that we were supposed to pick up the points, but as usual Swansea have never ever been good with these games, and it must be a concern now if we cannot roll our sleeves up, and battle for survival. Laudrup has had long enough to sort out our cutting edge out in front of goal, but seems unable to resolve our inability of getting at defences, we are clueless, and our service into the box is utter garbage, which makes me wonder what the hell our team do in training. Today is a wake up call, and I can't be bothered reading any excuses from our players, talk is cheap get it sorted Laudrup!................
This is for plastic.. I do know the best result for us is probably a draw mind!! But in their case (cardiff), I'll take delight in any struggle of theirs too. So there you are...
That's Huw's job not mine. I have no idea who's available, how much the cost, etc. This isn't fantasy football. Anyway, Laudrup in now short odds favorite to be the next PL manager to leave. I think he'll be gone by the end of the month.
Sunderland, W Ham, Norwich, Villa, Hull and Stoke won or are winning at the mo. Most worrying performance of the season. Not playing Leon a big mistake.
I think that's our problem. Some of the teams now winning may end up losing but at least it looks like they're having a go. They seem like they care. We look to have given up.
Regrettably I have to agree, today was a great opportunity to build on our win over Fulham, and get our first back to back win, but we are a team going through the motions and nothing else but a run of wins can save Laudrup now, the Cardiff game is massive!.....
This... Thinking all mine!! Maybe a bit harsh on Ash, as a team we're not going to be relied on if a big scrap is needed!! We just don't have it in us...
I don't like seeing it, but I think our board will now start to seriously think about it, losing £70 Million a season is incentive enough don't you think?
You got to have an alternative before you dismiss somebody?? We beat Fulham less than 7 days ago?? We have two world class players returning next week when we play Cardiff. Sorry I think it's just a knee jerk reaction to an away loss against a team who traditionally we have a very poor record against.
We didn't end up in a relegation scrap by losing today. It's a reaction to shocking results lately. It's based on where we are now not on today's result.
