Excellent. Couldn't go on the Monday as flying somewhere exotic. Saturday means I can go. It will be my second game of the season. My first was the 4-0 win over Arse. Yay.
I prefer Saturday just because it's sooner, but, although it may be better for some, it's tough on others who have made plans for Monday.
Unfortunate for the rest of you, but it means that I won't have consecutive weeks in which matches are played while I'm at work. Yay, 0-0 cup draws!
Not happy, I had my weekend planned around the original sporting arrangement. Scotland England Saturday, Super Bowl Sunday and saints Monday. I can't see the game now as I'll be at murrayfield.
I would but can't really justify splashing out £40 at the moment. Especially when it's on Sky. I remember when tickets were less than £20.
No worries I found it on KUMB while reading the comments on there about how badly they missed out on Austin.
As soon as this thread went up I knew the bin dippers and the jellied eels and bombsites mob would play out a frustrating 0-0 draw and ruin my plans. Booked the Tuesday off work for this, now I can't go. Gutted.
Well that's screwed it for me. Still on holiday in the US seeing my daughter. Now if the baby popped out in the next couple of days, then maybe I could change my flight. Curries for the next couple of days then #imagooddadreally Silver lining is NBC sports will have it.
I remember the day farthings were going out of circulation and my Mum gave me the ones she had in her purse, I bought a mixture of blackjacks and fruit salads. Lovely jubbly. Looked it up....happened in 1960....thought it was earlier. Incidentally, the word farthing is short for fourthing because it is a fourth of a penny. Didn't know that, but I did know that fortnight was short for fourteen nights.
This probably isn't news to you, FLT, but on the OS the club say they are offering refunds on any ticket (for the original Monday date), as long as you get the tickets back to the ticket office before 5:00pm on Friday 5th. That way, you get your money back, plus the added frisson of not knowing who you'll end up next to, if/when they manage to re-sell your spare ticket.
Thanks for that. I didn't know. Actually the ticket was on its own four rows behind me. My Dad was going to let my colleague sit with me and he'd go back. Thanks for letting me know.
