Very touchy on here today. A little light banter on his vampire like looks and we're willing him to fail.........of course not. For the record all I know about him is gossip about behaviour, very high praise about his talent and all I have seen, to the best of my recollection, is his very good goal against Spuds. Straight into the team I expect, kick us off on a run of wins.
So its perfectly fine, for you to criticise our clubs recent recruit, but its not ok, for me to defend that ? and criticise your comments ??? What are you on about!?
Sorry mate, just get a bit sick of the amount of posters just posting to criticise everything and everything. Apologies What happened to the idea, of the power of positive thought !!!!!
The only one on here who seems a bit moody is you. What exactly is your problem with free speech? You clearly think Redknapp has done a great job and feel we should just trust that he will prove us all wrong. Hope you are right but am not holding my breath waiting for the miracle to happen. Are you not at all concerned about the terms of the loan deal or is this yet another master stroke in the transfer market in your opinion. Let's have some comment from the positive brigade about the virtues of the deal and the player rather than just a sarcastic whine at the rest of the board.
Ok I'll be positive... If he comes in and plays a blinder for 28 days (4-5 games) and we win handsomely then WHU can have him if they want. it'll mean that he's put ome belief back into our squad, got us on a winning run, got the crowd behind us and maybe it may spark a bit of positivity around the place... Who on here would not take Townsend back for 28 days then? I would in a beat. If we win all those games chances are we'd be either above or bloody close to Leicester and almost certain to go up with that points haul! I dont really know much about the lad except he's a young English international. Whats so bad about having one of those play for our club?...even if it is for just 28 days. TBH I dont think he'll go back, just as our young skillfull internation will prob never come back to us. Im looking forward to seeing him play and i think we all should be....On the up!!
Given the way the OP reads I'm assuming it's copied from the press, so my response is typical bunch of ****ers (the press, not you lot) trying to make a story out of nothing. He signed after the end of the transfer window. Outside of the transfer window you can only sign players on emergency loans. An emergency loan has to be between 28 and 93 days. At any time after 28 days the parent club can recall the player*. There are no such things as recall clauses in them, it is just a feature of an emergency loan. *I haven't looked at it from the other side, but I would imagine that you would also have the right to send him back at that same time.
I didn't criticize the club's recent recruit. We need something to get us back on track, and the lad has the potential to help us do that. Which I hope is exactly what happens. I criticized the caveat in the deal which says that he can be recalled within 28 days. That doesn't seem to be unreasonably negative to me.
?????????? Neither did I from Mr Positivity himself. Ricardo seems to have set the facts straight but I too don't recall seeing anything negative about the player himself, just a good-humoured remark about his appearance wondering whether he had a taste for saucy young maidens' blood in the middle of the night.
Christ lads - lets all take a chill pill Let him have a blinder for a month and let West Spam recall him Look at the calendar we are soon knocking on the door for march and a magic RM month could be the difference between automatic promotion and the lottery that is the play offs.......
