will give them a whirl mate. i have a gaff near the palm tree from when i used to live in London, so know it well. i know several others in that neck of the woods to avoid, but i never got any bother down that way. looking forward to the match, oddly enough. hoping for a bit of siege mentality on the day, on the pitch and in voice......and the 3 points.
I think this one will be a tougher match than some are expecting. West Ham aren't great but they are usually well organised and have a cracking midfield: Noble, Jarvis, Morrison, Joe Cole, Diame, Diarra even without Nolan or Downing. I don't like Allardyce but I can't see them getting relegated, just a case of getting a striker into form or a new one through the door for them in January and they'll be fine. Suspect this game is one you'll lose but Norwich is then the big one - and I think you'll win that and go back to within 4-5 points of safety. Good luck though - I'd love to see WHU go down just to shaft Allardyce and then come back up without him (overall I don't mind them as a club at all).
-----Mannone---- Bardsley-JOS-Brown-Dossena (that backline depresses me ) ------Catts------ ----Ki-Giacc----- Johnson-----Borini ------Altidore---- Contemplating going to this game (god knows why) only thing is it's £42 for a ****ing ticket
Injuries becoming a 'big problem' for under pressure West Ham boss Sam Allardyce UNDER pressure Sam Allardyce admits West Ham's lengthy injury list is becoming a 'big problem' as his side hover just above the relegation zone. The Hammers suffered a comprehensive 4-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, however more worrying lost winger Stewart Downing and defender James Tomkins to injury and Kevin Nolan to suspension after he saw red for a poor challenge on Jordan Henderson. With Andy Carroll, Ricardo Vaz Te, Winston Reid and Mladen Petric already unavailable, Allardyce feels the number of absentees is becoming a major issue for him ahead of the weekend's relegation six-pointer against bottom placed Sunderland. "We're in a difficult position, one because of the league position and one because of the number of players we've got available," he told the club's official website. "So to have two more unavailable is a big problem for me. "I think Kevin's red card was borne out of frustration. He's experienced enough and it's unlike him to do that type of thing. "Obviously he did and he got himself a red." The match against the Black Cats could impact Allardyce's future with games against Manchester United and leaders Arsenal set to follow in the Premier League. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...r-under-pressure-West-Ham-boss-Sam-Allardyce-
