Yes they have Dragon but just remember how close we were to being there when judas left !! also remember Brendens team had a stroke of luck with zero injury last year and got found out half way through the season!1 Anyway thats beside the point, the point is that we wont win them all, we should remember that we are still building and we will not always be consistant. Less sniping from fans would help. dragon if you paid attention mate you will have seen me post many times how danny has improved under laudrup. i have been saying it for months....His finishing was poor but at least he would score last minute goals like he has recently...now due to poor judgement we dont have anyone capable and if you read the papers or listen to fans comments on the street and on the radio then you will see that the fans are not happy with the way the club and laudrup has let the side down by letting us finish off the season with only michu as a goal threat and lets be honest here even he is looking ordinary these past few games... Its the topic of the moment and rightly so, there is no excuse other that someone said poor management skills. we have all read the papers with laudrup stating we must bring in a striker and he failed. he is now saying we have goals in the side.. what has changed, and going by todays effort then i cant see where....whether Danny was still here or not we still needed a proven striker but now Danny has gone then even that slim chance has gone with him....
DG wouldn't have made much difference today. He is not a game changer or game winner, never was an impact guy. We didn't create that much that effectively today. When we showed some urgency and picked up the tempo we looked dangerous but we didn't do it from the get go and didn't persist on it when we did, We closed down sharper today and seemed to hunt the ball to twos and threes. Liked this a lot. We succumbed to the one strength they had over us - high ball to a tall forward that can jump and head. Tremmel was sharp today. He's looking great.
Obviously you have been paying to much attention to your favourite club and have missed all the goals we have been scoring this season. As for you blowing wind up DG @r$£, I have had numerous disagreements over the past few months with yourself regarding Graham's ability with you ALWAYS stating (as a fact) that DG is very poor/average/championship quality at best etc
valley you idiot dont you read papers or listen to call ins or even listen to your mates who watch the swans. the majority are really angry that laudrup messed up big time and its his fault. other managers have made him look amateurish when it comes to getting players in a short window time. and on top of that he let our only striker we have got good enough go to one of our rivals before making sure we had a replacement....is that good management yes or no...The fans are not happy and it could even cost us the league cup.....he was wrong end of.....i have finished with this topic now.....discuss among yourselves and i will agree with the 90% of fans who know he blew it...I hope to god it does not ruin our season....
We didn't even begin to play today until Luke Moore came on and then Michu went back to his favourite position. I can't even remember a shot in the 1st half at all. Anyone who thinks otherwise is gravely mistaken. All this against a hoofball team who's only tactic was to lump it up to Caroll.

Laudrup has got us playing negatively away from home Dill. Its not pretty but its secured points against Everton and Sunderland - where we had a zero return last season. It didn't quite work yesterday but **** happens. Its not pleasing for our travelling fans - but we are picking up valuable away points.
Dai you idiot. Don't you read this forum. The majority are really pleased with what Laudrup is doing. Most fans are pleased that he didn't bring in Akinfenwa just to bring someone in. Most fans are glad he didn't do a Fede Bassone like your god Brenda. Now that's a sign of bad management!! But that's what you want, isn't it..? You do realise that what you are saying is that you would rather want Laudrup to spend cash on bullshit now than using the money sensibly in the summer? What did Graham actually do this season? He hardly startet a game and if he did he certainly didn't score goals. Now, I am (was) a fan of Danny, I liked him as a player but even I can see that he didn't do us any good this year. It's gonna have no impact on us that he is here no more. The only difference is that he will spend time on the bench in northern england in stead...
Great post. This Dai fellow sounds like he has a hidden agenda to berate and jump on Laudrup at every small opportunity. Huw and ML made a decision to trust the squad they got and don't splash the cash unnecessarily. That's why ML is a great manager and HUw is the best chairman in the league. They know what they are doing, as proved again and again, unlike certain silly posters with hidden agends.
I'm with Norway on this. We are no longer a club that brings in anyone at any price just to get a body. When Laudrup was faced with a club president who "changed the rules" (in other words tried to push his luck) he said no. We can't be seen as a club that rolls over and is an easy touch in the transfer market so, regreattable as it is that we didn't land a replacement for Graham, Laudrup was dead right. However I am disappointed that we are now left relying on the likes of Moore and Schechter up front and this places far too much pressure on Michu. If he get injured we could find ourselves tumbling down the places because I just can't see where the goals are going to come from. Still, no need to panic just yet. We can't win every game and Carroll is always a threat on set pieces. Hoofball sometimes works, unfortunately but let's be honest we didn't really create that much. A good win against QPR and this will be forgotten.
The board has faith in ML and the team to remain in the premiership this year. That is the prime objective this year. The board has shown faith in ML by backing him at the right times and ML has returned this faith by signing class players such as Chico, de Guzman, Ki (he can still do better) and of course Michu. Our team are playing the best football we have ever played, we currently occupy the highest position in the football league we have ever been, we are in the best financial shape we have ever been. We have the opportunity to improve on all of this and, bonus, we may qualify for Europe next year. The Jan transfer window is simply a vehicle used by agents to rape clubs. There is no value for money and little quality for purchase at this time. During this time deals are mostly done as a knee jerk reaction by desperate clubs looking to save their premiership status. We are not desperate and I applaud our ice cool board for not dealing at this time. Best to keep our money now and use it when value is available. I simply can't see how Dai can say that ML and the board have '****ed up' over DG. None of our success this year is down to him. What an insult Dai is. Sorry Dai but your on ignore again, you have absolutely nothing to say of consequence to me, bye bye. I also cannot understand why, but I do have a feeling why. He likes to wum. He isn't a supporter, he is a whiner. DG wouldn't have made any difference yesterday, we had an off day. Dai is only saying what he is saying as an "I told you so". Even though, any sane supporter knows it would have made no difference.
As disappointed as I was yesterday I would like to go on record and say that I have every faith in Michael Laudrup. He knows more than us lot put together (no offence) and its good to see that so many of us on here recognise this. Keep the faith brothers times are good
