Cesc didn't come through our academy, he came through Barca's, And the other 4 all share the same issue, lack of focus.
Anyway, **** Kyle and his negative BS, I'm looking forward to the game. It could be a good launch pad for one or two fringe players to push for a starting berth in our thin squad, so the competition presents a good opportunity for players to make the step up
Cesc joined us at 16 and played with us for the next 8 years, he was very much a product of or youth policy.

It is relevant, because if they didn't come through our academy, then they're not actually a product of our academy.
I really couldn't care less if they have come through our youth system or have been signed for 500K and sold for 30M. It is great experience for younger players.
