Definitely - it's shocking if that is the reason as its dereliction of duty from the manager, the players the coaches and the physics/fitness team to not have a proper warm up regime
Fair enough. It's an interesting point but imo it's not right. We don't do run anymore than most teams and run less than a lot of teams
True. What I meant was I'd heard people say that theo was thrown on the pitch before he could properly warm up, I could only see what was shown on the TV though. There was also a question raised that as both oxo and theo suffered similar injuries within 10mins and that we suffer an inordinate amount of pulls, strains ect that maybe our warm up routines aren't as rigorous as other teams...
Hope Bellerin is back from his groin strain for this game. Apparently him and Oxo should be back but that Ramsey and Theo have (surprise, surprise) been put back to the 5th of December!
It's good for club football to be back, these international breaks seem like a damn eternity! Though this was a welcomed break, it feels like a month since we have played.
I wonder when the team news will be announced on Arsenal.com. Fingers crossed all our internationals have come through unscathed
Ramsey and oxo out of the game apparently but bellerin fit. Wenger going to see what Kos' state of mind is before deciding if he is OK to play
Bellerin back for this one. Ramsey back midweek (maybe Ox maybe not) and Ox for sure back next week. All in all good for us. Felt we've missed Hector the most as Campbell can manage with senior players around him.
So only Bellerin back, and Walcott is still a few weeks out, great. International break hasn't helped anything, with the terrorist attacks, our French players have also now been negatively affected from a state of mind point of view.
Walcott was never going to come back after the international break, Ramsey and OXO according to Wenger should be back on Monday, so it's not too bad.
Great to have Bellerin back and then Ox and Ramsey on monday. Hopefully Walcott will be available by the time we go into the busy christmas period too.
Walcott for me is the key player we need back up front. We have enough everywhere else but we need an alternative to Giroud. We could maybe use Sanchez or Campbell as an alternative to Walcott? But good to have Bellerin back in the team and will improve on our attacking capability.
This game is the start of a good run of games for us on paper at least, West Brom, Norwich, Sunderland, and Villa, before we face City, so we should be looking to get as many points possible, 10 out of 12 at least.
And we lose another player, our players are are made of glass. I called it before, as soon as we are going to get players back, we will lose another. That's Coq probably out for 6 months with knee ligament damage.
It is quite a boring game with no clear chances for any of the teams. We have more possession though.
