Lamela is annoying me already. That play up to the Eriksen chance was the first time I can remember in this game that he didn't just run the ball inside upon receiving it. Time and time again he ignores Walker as an option and doesn't even try and beat his man, he just runs inside and then passes it backwards, or back to our RB who has no option but to try and make something of it. Like Dembele, Lamela has so much ability but neither seem to have any idea how to use it :/
The curse of being a striker in my fantasy team strikes again. Since Wickham has scored, expect Berahino to score two own goals and get sent off.
Dembele replaced by Chadli. Should give us more width down the left. Might sacrifice a bit in the middle, though.
Chadli on for Dembele. Eriksen now presumably central. Get in. If we end up getting a bit overrun in the middle then we can have Stambouli on to compensate a bit I guess. Lamela's problem appears to be that he wants this 'free role', but 1) he has to earn that role, like Bale did and 2) we already have Eriksen who likes to drift a bit, and they end up getting in each others way a bit.
Penalty. Walker crosses and Lescott slides in with his arm high and the ball hits it. They'll complain about that one. No Townsend, so Kane to take... and he scores. Right in the bottom corner.
I'd be using Lamela as back-up for Eriksen. A bit different, but they both look at their best in the same position.
It's one of those pens that you have to say was a pen, but if it was given against your team you'd be a bit annoyed.
Lescott slides in and his arm's high, but he's not intentionally blocking it or anything. Blatant dive down the other end, though. That's bloody awful.
How did Berahino get that much space? He's looked pretty dangerous in flashes today. His attitude needs some work, but he's threatening and quick.
Off the top of my head I can't think of any other player in recent times who's shown the kind of improvement Harry Kane has. For a long while I thought he was *okay* but he's now absolutely top drawer. Did not see it coming, to be honest.
What a lovely break that was. Tricks, flicks, nice passes, decent pace about it... Shame about the finish.
The MOTD edit for this could be a bit tricky. Their fans have been singing the same song over and over all game, but ours have now changed the words. "You're ****ing ****, you're ****ing ****, you're ****ing ****" for five minutes!
