Swansea City name an unchanged starting line-up for Sunday’s lunchtime kick-off against West Brom. Head coach Steve Cooper sticks with the same team that kicked off the defeat to Fulham last time out, but there are two amendments on the bench. Aldo Kalulu is in line for his first appearance in three months, while Nathan Dyer also returns to the matchday squad as Borja Baston and Bersant Celina drop out. That means Freddie Woodman continues in goal with Connor Roberts and Kyle Naughton the two full-backs. Mike van der Hoorn partners Ben Wilmot in defence, while Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton pair up again in midfield. George Byers – on the scoresheet last time out – takes the number 10 role with Andre Ayew and Kristoffer Peterson on the flanks. Sam Surridge leads the line for the visitors. Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Connor Roberts, Ben Wilmot, Mike van der Hoorn, Kyle Naughton; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain); Andre Ayew, George Byers, Kristoffer Peterson; Sam Surridge. Substitutes: Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Jake Bidwell, Ben Cabango, Tom Carroll, Barrie McKay, Nathan Dyer, Aldo Kalulu.
ow dear we are feeling a bit tender aren't we, is lambsy on the rag this week or is realisation of Swansea being **** setting in.
I always say, keep your powder dry, it sometimes has a tendency to blow up in your face. Happened to a lad in work last season, kept crowing on how they would win the league, then boom, this threw it all away. I was well happy, got a lovely case of Stella off him. Funny enough he was a Leeds fan as well.
Game over/ Same as Fulham really - playing fairly well but we have such a poor defence. I still don't understand how commentators rate Van de Hoorn - he's just average at best.
