Obviously we aren’t going to get O’Neil now, or anyone nearly as good as him, but I hope whoever does the interviews for Ainsworth’s replacement sees these clips and understands how a good manager talks and what they look like. It’s simply impossible to imagine Ainsworth doing the prep on the opposition, coming up with imaginative shapes and roles to put into action, getting the players to understand and buy into what is needed, practicing it effectively on the training ground and having the balls to stick with it on the day.
Nice one Gary and good luck to you.

I've been fortunate to meet Gary and his wife and kids and he's a top bloke. Very humble and down to earth.
Another top bloke is Liam Manning. He's the head coach of Oxford United. He was going to be appointed our head coach until Mick Beale turned up with his spreadsheets. Oxford are currently 2nd in League One and five points clear of the play off contenders.
Gary O'Neil on Monday Night Football giving an insight into his training methods. I can't imagine Ainsworth doing anything like this.

Or without his short visit we would have gone down last seasonSounds like yet another facet of the debacle that is Mick Beale.
Often we berate the board but Beale has a lot to answer for in the current slump.
