As far as I can work out, here are the possibilities... - West Brom win and they are up. - Any of West Brom, Brentford or Fulham win, and the other two lose and the team that wins are promoted. - Brentford win and anything other than a win for West Brom will see the Bees promoted. - Fulham need to win, and both Brentford and West Brom to lose and they are up. - Fulham win by 17 goals, Brentford lose and West Brom draw and Fulham are up. The dilemma was explained very clearly by Beth in the Matchday thread for our last game. When discussing Darnell Furlong's fee she wrote; I have been a bit soft towards Brentford in the past, but that all changed last week. I spoke to a mate who I hadn't spoken to in a few years...and he is a Brentford fan. Speaking to him just made me realise how unbearable they'll be if they go up. Even worse, what if they sneak up and actually do well...doesn't bare thinking about. I never want QPR to lose, but on this occasion, I'd be lying if I said I would be upset to see us lose and both Brentford and Fulham go into the uncertainty of the playoffs. West Brom will surely be very up for this game, and out for a win to secure promotion. They have two strikers who have scored 10 or more (albeit just) this year...but both of them touch a nerve for me. Austin has 11, but touches a nerve because he left us to take his amazing opportunity, but I feel he jumped ship as soon as it didn't look too awful. Robson-Kanu has 10 goals so far, and he touches a nerve because he was three years below me at the same high school, and every time I see him play he reminds me that we both had the same opportunity to shine...and he did. Whatever. A win could see us finish 13th and a loss could drop us down to 16th so we have a bit of pride to play for...but otherwise I am just quite glad we are comfortable and able to write this season off and start again in a few weeks. I'll add some team news when/if it goes on the official and enjoy those who are watching...and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
I believe it's going to be on Sky, so there should be some good streams floating about for those that don't have the QPR+ pass
Philips, Furlong and Austin will all want to put one over on their old club. It would be to see a decent performance to give us hope over the next few weeks before the new season starts.
Whether we want to win or not, I can't see anything but a drubbing for us. Sorry. Didn't we host WBA a few seasons back as champions? (Them, not us!).
A bit late in the season to mention it but thanks for the weekly spread, Dave. As mentioned, l think the old boys will want the win more than us.
We could see games on QPR+ in blacked out countries( ones that had no agreement to show Championship games like Thailand for instance) before the shut down. Now, I dont know, but think it's the same.
Would be great banter if we got to 0-0 on 85 minutes and Barbet just turned around and smashed one in our net past Lumley.
Rumors that BOS is back in the squad, after he decided against Brugge as Leicester band Brighton are after him.
Just emailed the club and annoyingly this is the response; Thanks for the email. The game will not be on QPR+. You will need to consult your local TV schedule to see what channel the game is on.
