Norwich have another tough away fixture to contend with, West Brom away mid-week. The baggies suffered the heartbreak of not only an own goal, but after coming back from 0-2 down in the second half they conceded a 90th minute goal to lose 2-3. It will be interesting to see how they pick themselves up.

Like West Brom, Norwich have the unfortunate habit of conceding last minute goals and it took a world class save to enable Norwich a win away to Wrexham at the weekend. Norwich will be looking to keep the division's top assist provider Mikey Johnston quiet and WBA will be looking to keep Makama quiet as well as he is now up to joint third in the league scorers charts. Sargent.... who is he?

Form:
West Brom: LWLLL
Norwich: WLWLW

With only a handful of points between them this is an important game from the season's perspective. Norwich seem to win every other game currently and though that is better than drawing all the time, some winning consistency will be welcomed to finally haul ourselves out of the bottom three, a place of which we have occupied for almost three months now!

Lets hope that Norwich recover from their weekend exploits and finally escape the relegation zone and don't return there!

I'm still on holiday so unlikely to be able to post updates to this thread.

Quality thread as usual buddy, keep up the good work. Hope you have a good holiday. OTBC

Worth noting that WBA have recently appointed a new Head Coach too - Eric Ramsey, I think this weekend was his first game in charge. Hes a young coach but highly rated.

A win against the Baggies will take us just 1 point behind them, with both teams having played the same number of games, and could possibly give us a phsycological advantage for the FA Cup tie in February.

My 1st game was at The Hawthorns in 60s.
Living outside Birmingham, I had lots of 1st Div teams to support, so I picked The Baggies, much to my Dads annoyance, he was a Villa fan. Moved to Great Yarmouth in 70s,and started to follow the Canaries. Always split loyalties when we meet, but I'm a Canary now, sorry Baggies, but you will always be my 2nd team.

Something I’ve picked up from yesterdays press conference is that Clement mentions 4 or 5 players that are out for the season. Crnac and Topic are 2. As we haven’t had an update in Schlupp and when asked about left back he wasn’t mentioned as an option it may to be fair to assume that he is now out. In terms of the others we haven’t had an update on the condition of Forson or Duffy recently either.

Being a bit pedantic but did he say they were out through injury or could it be they are out of his reckoning

Not pedantic at all 1950, PC was asked if he felt like he had a big squad and whether we need players to leave to make space. PC's answer:
"I don't think we have such a big squad...more and more players are available now...we have maybe a big squad if the 4 or 5 who are long term out would be in the squad but most of them will not play this season any more so that changes the situation, I don't think we have the space to get rid of several players".

That would suggest to me unavailable through injury I think
