Still think we're too offensive considering it's away from home. Oh well fingers crossed!

Looks like Boruc is on gardening leave while that investigation is underway.

Looks a good team. Glad Gazza's back, didn't think he did much wrong really.

Come on you Saints, work hard, score some goals, and put a smile on my face.

Well I was right with Gaston replacing Jason. Was led to believe Boruc investigation would be concluded yesterday.

    Does not sound good.

I don't think we can't defend with any formation. Maybe Nigel's thinking is it's best to try and get the front foot in the game rather than invite pressure with a defensive formation

Very positive decisions from the manager, but this does make me very nervous. I think this game is going to be wide open.

Interesting that Shaw has got the nod over Reeves for the spare left-back slot on the bench.

"Southampton have conceded a Premier League record 26 goals in their first nine games of the season but it is not just the number they are letting in, it's the nature of them. They have come from individual and collective mistakes and some of their defending has been laughable..."

    Evening All!

Pleased Gazza is in goal, although Kelvin might feel hard done by - bringing in a GK from the cold ahead of him!

    Looking forward to it!

Not formation that bothers me, it's personnel. Four out-and-out attacking players is a lot away from home. Even Chelsea have come unstuck with so many attackers and let's face it, we're not Chelsea!

I don't think Gazzaniga was ever out in the cold as such. It's clear that Kelvin is our designated substitute keeper and number 1 spot is between Boruc and Gazza.

Well considering Reeves isn't a left back (anymore) it makes perfect sense. We are light on full backs right now, unless I'm imagining that we lost Richardson a couple of weeks back.

Lallana maybe dropping in to CM with Gaston at CAM? looks like a 4312 to me, congest the middle of the park, allow gaston to move freely, Jay Rod has been excellent last few games running in to the flanks and rickie ofcourse down the middle. In my opinion our best lineup availible minus Cork.
