Just checked the stats. Our passing is 66.8%, very low. I assume this is because a wild clearance is classified as an attempted pass. But for all their possession both teams have had two shots on target, ours calling for good saves, theirs not so. OK, straws, grasping, etc.
Referee's can use their judgement to not give a free kick in a dangerous area when forwards get clattered, playing advantage but not if player's complain that their judgement cost their side a free kick or a yellow to the other side . The ref should have said to Sainz, last warning or you're off but the ego took over & he wrecked the game . ****er
The second card was for desent, Sainz should learn to keep his mouth shut. It's not a ref issue, it's a player issue.
It looked to me like Barnes got completely taken out in a dangerous area , a free kick & a yellow should have been shown. The ref gave neither , but you can't criticise him It may be the rules that refs can do what they want but don't question their authority but it ruins the game. It's also their discretion whether they book players for dissent or not. Just replace them all with VAR AI & robots
DD posted that information a couple of posts before you as I pointed out in what was meant to be a light hearted manner.
My post was directions to the site, not the game. The game post does not always work, but the site post shows all the available games, and works every time. Surely more info is better, you can always ignore it
Who would have thought that Rotherham would beat Middlesbrough, Leeds would lose at Preston and Watford lose at home to Bristol City. Crazy league.
we're 12th 2 points off the playoffs! Duffy followed by McLean were our best players, but all of them put in a shift. Oh well on to Millwall!
BBC says 7/3 but that was a fantastic team performance to keep it to one goal and create a decent threat with 10 men as well. Credit to all involved, except Sainz. We're still only 2 points behind 6th place.
