Morris would never have got any game time, that is why he was loaned out. Knowing this, would he have wanted to have signed a new contract? 20:20 hindsight is a wonderful thing

Jonathan Rowe seems to have established himself in the first team, but injury has slowed his progress this season. Tony Springett has had 3 starts and 9 sub appearances at Derby with mixed results. Webber has a reasonable record with developing young players who he inherited and those recruited, including Buendia and Maddison. His record with senior players is less clear.

I could accept that if we hadn't then gone on to sign Hugill.

McNally signed Maddison, Rowe I would put in the disappointing category with Springett Dickson Peters & most of the academy.

Mumba & Gibbs have potential out of a huge pool of "talent"

He was our star player winning the youth Cup against Chelsea & he never got a chance, Idah has been poor & was gifted a 5 year deal .

True which makes Maddison an 'inherited' player, but his development took place in the post McNally Academy, as did those of Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey and Jamal Lewis.

Well the conveyer belt from the academy to the first team to profit in our self sustaining model, seems to have spluttered to a halt.

Not much to get excited about other than Mumba who broke through a few seasons ago then shipped out to league 1.

Where he became League 1 young player of the season. Omobamidele and Gibbs have now become a regular first team players, Springett has played for the first team and Tomkinson and Kamara show potential for first team involvement. That's a pretty good through put of young players, IMO.

Well if we get relegated to league 1 we have a good left back, Omobamidele could probably use a season in league 1 too he's not good enough for the Championship.

1 win in the last 9 with Omobamidele captaining the side in Hanley's absence we look even worse .

I call it as I see it .

I agree that Omo has been a bit disappointing this season but he is very young and I think the experience of this season, including being captain, will make him a better player in the long run.

We can cross our fingers & hope , Idah might score 30 goals next season too hopefully.

Nothing this season has hinted that either one of these things will happen but I do hope .

I'm not singling out those two by any stretch.

Gunn was crap under Smith but improved slightly under Wagner despite long winless runs, Sara showed flashes of brilliance but not consistently, Hanley for me is player of the season & McLean was behind most of our best performances.

Not many other stand out players .

8 wins 5 draws 9 losses at Carrow Road in the second tier is concerning .

Hot on the heels of 3 wins 3 draws & 13 losses last season partly explains the unrest amongst the Carrow Road faithful.

Yep main target for next season has to be for Wagner to get CR rocking again - we need a fortress at home.

Omobamidele is valued at £6m on TransferMarkt, so his likely price is around 3 times that given his career so far at 20. Max is 23 now and valued at £16m. He's now 23 and entering the last year of his contract so unless he signs a new contract, a move could be likely. It's going to be an interesting window.
