I got the impression watching that everything changed after Elliot's mishandling early in the second half. I'm not blaming Elliot for that (He had a shocker compared to usual until he settled midway through the 2nd half) but it was the response of the other layers that bothered me. It's almost as if they are so mentally fragile atm that any close call and some of them go into panic mode.

I think this season would have been a lot less stressful with Coloccini around. Not just for his abilities but also his calming influence.

 

At this stage of the season, given our position it's points and not performances that count most.

Forget Sunderland, Norwich & Stoke winning, the main thing is that we gained a point and Wigan didn't. Meaning we're now one point more & one game closer to survival.

While I'd like to finish as high up as possible, right now I'd take 17th and the chance to start afresh next season. As long as we have teams doing worse below us I'll take it.

 

I think if our attitude is that we lose every game!!!! remember once everything is decided up tops teams will play weaker sides against the likes of Villa and Wigan etc!!

 

There is no part of what I said that affects how the team plays. Me being happy with a point has no bearing on how the team approaches each game!
