That was one of hardest games we had left, it gets easier now!! No way have autos gone!!
It’s not about personnel. It’s a different player that costs us with a lapse of concentration each week. This week it was Harry Clarke’s turn to switch off.
The passing was a lot better today, but all that effort counts for little if we can’t do the basics for the whole 90 minutes. Opposition sides know they will get easy opportunities from us.
I don’t see this changing at the moment. McKenna will be looking to bed in the new strikers rather than roll the dice.
Very dominating 2nd half, much more like our early season form. Adami & Hutch were class, the former unlucky not to score. Nice deft touches. He and Moore would be a helluva front 2 pair!
Harness was at fault with a casual give away pass to their midfielder, thanks very much, flicked on to Swift who shot from range, and tbh Hladky should have stopped it.
Not happy with Woolfy walking the ball around and kicking it aimlessly. We are at our best when moving at pace, direct play and with intensity. Too many spells of pudding play esp in 1st half. To be fair, they were well drilled and able to move back into their rigid 4 plus 4 across the back.
I would like at least 2 of our subs to start against Milwall. I am not thinking Harness. And perhaps Tuanzebe to start, he needs game time.

Leeds scum certainly obsessed with itfc these days, mind you...who could blame them. We are from a lovely part of the world, where as Leeds....what a **** hole that place is, only went once, that was enough, took ages to get the stench out of my clothes!! Unfortunately, defensively, Clarke and Wolfenden bring out the worst in each other. Clarke is much better going forward as was seen in the 2nd half which we dominated. Subs made a big impact when coming on and I think in certain games, we may play 2 up front. I also think that Travis could come in for Luongo. For the future, we need a leader at the back. Defenders are not bad individually but far too many errors collectively. We need a Mowbray / De Vos figure back there to organise things. Top 2 is definitely not done yet - I accept it’s unlikely but whatever happens, we are punching way above our weight against 3 teams all receiving large parachute payments
