He was substitute 'keeper until 2 games ago, now Maynard-Brewer is on the bench.

 

There's an eerie silence over the absence of Amos and Hemed.

 

In the case of Hemed I thought I detected less than the 100% commitment demanded by Lee Bowyer. Some put it down to lack of fitness, but I did wonder if it was a bit more. We'll see. A fully fit and fired up Hemed would be great.

 

From afar, I don't know what's happened with Amos, but it would be an odd decision to drop Phillips right now.

 

Phillips waited patiently for his chance, and Amos has to do the same. Tough being a reserve goalie.
