Good point. The major problem is that in this day and age superlatives are thrown around too much. "The best goal ever", "World class", etc. All this "best defender in the league stuff" is down to hype from all concerned. Can we get a bit more 1950s saying stuff like "he's a good player", "excellent defender" without all the meaningless drivel pushed on us by the media? What criteria are we using for "best defender in the league"? I'm not knocking the Leicester fans here, we've been guilty of the same thing with Chester and Hobbs as "the best central defensive pairing".
