Cardiff is probably top because everyone won there. I notice DQPR and Leeds are the bottom of the Championship in this. No surprises there.
Maybe it's because our stewards are a soft touch? Or our pricing structure isn't on par with the robbing cockneys?
Your right Stu, one of the factors was distance to travel, how did we get third when we're on the end of the road to nowhere, our pies must be really good ( havent had one for 4 years so cant comment)
No danger of arrest or heavy-handed stewarding, a 10 min walk to the stadium from the station. But hardly handy for travel from the rest of the country (neither are CCFC or SCFC). Maybe people like a trip away from their own ****hole to a city they would never otherwise visit?
Palace are deservedly bottom- people can suss a phoney atmosphere when they see one. Surprised to see LFC/EFC only just above CPFC. That city is Football Central and the grounds are atmospheric and (usually) vibrant. Admittedly dog tod on the shoes is not ideal but Liverpool is still a major football metropolis in this country.
No surprise Cardiff came top, their welcome is superb and Cardiff is a great night out.If City can learn from the wecome you get at Cardiff we will come top next season.
Pleased to see Palace at their rightful place at the bottom. Set of ****s. Also Everton and West Ham are ****-hole type grounds so I can see why they're down there, although I do have a soft spot for Everton away depite the **** view, **** ground, **** prospects of getting a result.
Everton is quintessential top tier ground and has been for decades. Hemmed in by terraced streets, crowd very close to players, Leitch stand for away fans, what's not to like? please log in to view this image
Liverpool was appalling last season though, no atmosphere and just a general whinge fest. If other clubs had similar experiences I can definitely see why it was near the bottom, by the far the worst away day for me last season.
That's more or less what I said. Everton is enjoyable even though it's clearly a dump. I just really hate Palace, particularly for their home fans. Pleased to see it's not just me.
Yeah, feel a bit guilty for doing so if I'm honest. Hit by the double whammy of moving up age bracket at the same time as the price rise, so my season ticket has actually gone up over 150%.
Stoke didn't come bottom? Must be a fix. Liverpool was a shocker this season, no atmosphere, £10 to some pikey to park the car(I'm not even sure he was anything to do with the car park) and the streets were paved with dog ****.
