Were you at the game? I disagree. Just got back from the game and still buzzing. I am not one of Redknapp's fans but what ever he said to them at half time it worked a treat. Phillips really went for it and deserved his goal. The midfield were suddenly galvanised, chased the ball down in packs and starting to pass the ball with speed and purpose to get us into further scoring opportunities. From the off we attacked with pace and urgency. Passion for want of a better word. I hope Hoilett took note of the second goal in particular beating the man with a swift one to and pin point cross to pick out Austin, one of two players in the box (yes two) to attack the ball when it came in. The first half was poor but the conditions did have something to do with that. The second was the best team performance and attacking performance away from home I have seen so far this season.

I hope that the lesson has been learned. We win games by going out with a positive mind-set trying to create goal scoring opportunities rather trying to suffocate the life out of the opposition. After that second half performance I have little doubt that we can go on to win this league. The boys done good all over the park. Let's keep that level of performance and avoid the coasting. If we do, we'll be fine. Games need to be won. We'll get nothing by playing as though we are entitled.

Harry Redknapp knows the top 2 leagues inside out and he is doing an absolute brilliant job for us with all his experience and man management skills. I know many, many Tottenham fans who would snap our chairmans hands off to have him back at WHL. We are very lucky to have a top manager.

Nice one Yorkie, lets hope the second half becomes the template. Are you going to Forest on Boxing Day?

Saw it live on the TV, and I played the last section after Kransjar came on again. We were a lot better after he came on, but it was only for about 20 minutes or so. The 1st half and the first 10/15 minutes of the 2nd half we were bad. If Blackpool had taken their chances in that first 60 minutes and Green hadn't played well we would have lost. I hope your optimism is justified, there were some good performances I agree, but Leicester and Derby look like they are playing better than us now.

Those fearing Derby should remember that there are always teams that hit a winning run at some point in the season, last time we won it Cardiff, Norwich and even Forest all had runs but couldn't maintain them all through. Look at Forest's start this season, they soon slipped up. Derby's test will be against the main contenders and we'll see where they go from there, I still think we'll push on in the second half of the season. No point in fretting over any of the other contenders, it's in our own hands...

If you were watching live on TV, I fail to see how you can say Leicester and Derby are playing better than us now. And how exactly can you make that scientific objective comparison when we were all playing different opponents in different conditions? Were you watching all three games live simultaneously? Leicester have lost 5 times already this season and royally ****ed up when they went top a couple of weeks ago. Derby are on a winning run at the moment boosted in part by a new manager bounce. As Sooper has said everyone has a winning run at some point in the season. We did. Then Burnley then Leicester then Derby. It's how you bounce back from the inevitable setbacks that will count in the end. We've had two setbacks. We've bumped along, rarely playing to our full potential and yet we are top and, it has to be said, however little we may have done in some games, we have deserved our wins overall. We then turned it on against Blackpool albeit after the first hour and beat a good Blackpool side with quite a bit to spare.

Unfortunately not. Family duties beckon and I cannot get out of them. I seem destined always to miss the Forest game for one reason or another just as I did with both Leeds, my local club and Doncaster. I can't help thinking that our template away from hone should to score as soon as possible and keep going with swift breakaways thereafter. There is a time and a place for stifling the opposition and preventing them causing danger and that's when you're already a couple of goals up

In the second half, we played some of the best football I have seen from us this season. And the second goal was excellent.

Lots of negativity surrounding our performances this season, and to a certain extent this is fair criticism, but I'm very pleased with our league position and don't believe we've been riding our luck too much. Blackpool had their moments but we had the cutting edge when it mattered. Great 3 points in absolutely dreadful conditions.

Never claimed to be scientific or objective. From what I seen those two teams look to be playing better stuff than us, Watford too, but that doesn't mean they are going to end up with more ponts than us. We are where we are because of our solid defensive play, the goals conceded column confirms that. Burnley are where they are because of an effective strike force, but from what I seen neither Burnley or us are playng that well. I hope to make the Leicester game next week and see us play them off the park, but I'll be well happy if we beat them 1-0 from our only chance of the game.

Watford are playing so well they haven't won for nine games, I'll settle for our boring style that wins games until we come up with a better solution...

I don't think we have to beat Leicester to win this league.
