I have an increasing suspicion that we have a manager..

I am not sure who it is ...but maybe his initials are GA

Warburton had been asked to prepare pre-season training schedules before he was let go. I'm not sure whether the manager has much say in what friendly games we have, other than maybe the quality of opposition.

Just been talking to one of my neighbours, who as Sunderland fan (he’s from there) is off to the game tomorrow. We agreed that Ainsworth’s approach is best described as ‘direct’ or ‘agricultural’, although my neighbour reckons its pretty standard for league one.

We have spent years trying to establish a passing style (a little bit too strenuously sometimes), can’t imagine we will dump that so if it’s Ainsworth presumably he has said he will reject route oneand he only did it because it’s Wycombe, no resources etc. Except for those rather good ball players we have loaned him.
