Just seen Wilshere's goal - series of fortunate mis-kicks.

 

I get what your saying but when the manager denies everything (as Martinez did), its hard for a player to then come out and undermine him by saying the opposite.

 

We'll see if he gets awarded the goal then, the offside is now irrelevant because the goal stands.

 

I thought that Eto'o scored Hazard's first goal yesterday, even though he was prone and offside at the time (ignoring the foul on the keeper).

I loved the MotD comments on Barry:

[paraphrase] That should have been a yellow, that could have been a straight red, he was offside when the ball hit him for the first goal... anyway, we move on now... [/paraphrase]
